Quartz finish
A quartz finish is a pool surface of crushed quartz mixed into cement.
Quartz finishes sit between plaster and pebble in feel and toughness. The crushed quartz adds color depth and helps the surface resist wear and chemical attack better than plain plaster.
Like all cement finishes, quartz still needs balanced water. Low pH can wear the cement, and high calcium can leave scale. Brush the walls on a schedule and keep stains from setting. If you are not sure what finish your pool has, ask the builder or look at the original paperwork.
