Resurfacing

Resurfacing is replacing the interior finish of a pool, such as plaster, pebble, or quartz.

A finish does not last forever. Rough spots, stains that return, cracks, and chalky patches can mean it is time. Resurfacing drains the pool and strips or covers the old layer, then applies a new one.

It is a major job done by a pool builder or finish contractor. Good water balance after the job protects the new finish. Many new plaster finishes need careful startup chemistry, so follow the installer's plan. Marina Pool Services does not list resurfacing as a service.
