Water feature

A water feature is a waterfall, fountain, or scupper that moves water for looks and sound.

Features add sound and cooling to the pool area. They run off the pump, often through a separate valve line. A valve actuator can turn them on from a phone.

Water features raise evaporation and splash-out. In windy weather they can throw water outside the pool. Watch the water level, and keep an eye on the pump, since extra flow demands more from it. If the flow looks weak, check the filter and baskets first.
