Shotcrete
Shotcrete is concrete mixed wet with water first and then sprayed to build pool shells.
Shotcrete and gunite both make strong concrete shells. With shotcrete, the water is in the mix before it leaves the hose, while gunite adds water at the nozzle. Builders pick one based on the job, the crew, and the site.
For an owner, the difference rarely matters day to day. What matters is the finish and the upkeep. Cracks, rough spots, and leaks need the same checks no matter which method built the shell.
