Control panel

The control panel is the box or screen where pool equipment is switched and scheduled.

The control panel is where you turn equipment on and off and set schedules. It might be a simple switch box, a timer panel, or a touchscreen tied to automation.

If a panel will not respond, loses its schedule, or shows error codes, the cause may be a power issue, a bad board, or a failed relay. Do not open the panel yourself, since it holds line voltage. Call a qualified pro. Keep the panel shaded and dry, since sun and moisture shorten its life.
