Salt system conversion
A salt system conversion changes a chlorine pool to run on a salt chlorine generator.
The generator turns salt in the water into chlorine. It is installed on the plumbing and wired to power. You add pool salt and keep the water in range.
Salt does not make a pool maintenance free. You still test water and clean. Salt can speed wear on some stone and metal. Marina Pool Services offers salt water system installation and service. The cell wears out over time, so ask the installer what to expect.
