Liability insurance
Liability insurance is coverage that pays for damage a contractor causes on a job.
If a tech breaks a window, floods a yard, or damages equipment, liability insurance can cover the cost. Without it, you may pay out of pocket or fight about it.
Ask for a certificate of insurance and check the dates. Marina Pool Services states that it is insured through IPSSA. Ask any company what the policy covers. Insurance also protects you if a worker is hurt on your property, so ask whether the policy covers that as well.
