Impeller
The impeller is the spinning part inside the pump that moves water.
The impeller is a small wheel with curved vanes. It spins and throws water through the pump. When debris jams it, flow drops and the motor works harder.
Watch for weak flow, rattling, or a pump that hums but pumps little. A clogged or cracked impeller needs cleaning or replacement. Always switch off power at the breaker before opening the pump. Electrical and motor work is for a qualified pro. Marina Pool Services offers pump repair.
