Equipment inspection

An equipment inspection is a check that the pump, filter, heater, and controls work as they should.

A tech looks at flow, pressure, leaks, noise, and controls. Marina Pool Services lists inspection of pumps, filters, heaters, valves, plumbing connections, timers, and controls.

Warning signs that call for an inspection: strange noises, high filter pressure, low flow, a heater that will not fire, or leaks at the pad. Early checks cost less than repairs after a failure. See pool equipment inspection. Ask for the findings in plain words, ranked by what needs work first.
