Acid wash
An acid wash cleans a plaster pool by removing a thin layer of surface with a diluted acid solution.
Acid washing can lift deep stains and heavy scale. It removes a thin layer of plaster, so it is not a routine task. Too many washes thin the finish.
It needs training. Acid fumes and splashes are dangerous, and the pool is drained first. Never mix acids with chlorine. Many stains can be treated without draining, so ask a pro which fix fits your pool. Marina Pool Services does not list acid washing as a service.
