Vacation service is routine pool care that keeps the water safe and clear while the owner is away.

A pool left alone for a week or two in a Texas summer can turn green. Heat and sun use up chlorine, and leaves and storms add stress.

Before you leave, tell your pool company your dates and ask about extra visits. Keep the pump on its normal schedule, and set the water level. Ask whom to call if a storm hits.
