# Service log

A service log is a record of tests, doses, and work done at each pool visit.

A log shows chemical readings, what was added, and what the tech did. It helps spot trends, like chlorine that keeps dropping or pressure that keeps rising.

Ask whether your provider keeps a log and how you can see it. A written record helps if you have a warranty claim or switch companies. Keep your own notes about repairs and parts. A good log has dates, readings, and a short note on any repair.
